Department Student/Faculty Tea
- Come and join us for tea, hot chocolate, and cookies or other good stuff. Tea is from 2:45 to 3:30 pm each Thursday afternoon in the third floor 'Elevator Lobby' of Walker Hall.

"Appalachian students, faculty and staff can learn of changes to the university's operational schedule through a variety of sources. Mathematics Placement Testing
- Initial Mathematics Placement is done via SAT Math score and online placement tests.
(*) You may take an online placement test at Appalachian to place into 1010, 1020, or 1025.Initial Placement SAT Math ≥ 520 May enroll in MAT 1010, 1020, or 1025 SAT Math < 520 Must successfully complete MAT 0010
before enrolling in any "ND" course. (*)
Calculus Placement ASU Calculus Readiness Test ≥ 13 May enroll in MAT 1110 or 1030
